2012 - Ein fantastisches Jahr, liebe Kunden und liebe Freunde!
Mit buntem Feuerwerk und vielen Wunschlaternen am Himmel begann gestern das neue Jahr hier auf Ko Lanta! Wir hoffen auch Ihr habt den Jahreswechsel entspannt und in geselliger Runde genossen. Es gibt viele Pläne hier bei uns, die wir Euch bald verraten werden. Gespannt warten wir auch auf die Rückkehr der "Flying Seahorse", um hoffentlich von Mantas an Silvester berichten zu können.

Colourful fireworks and lanterns with new year's wishes in the sky - that's how we started the new year here on Ko Lanta! We hope all our friends and customers have had a lovely evening. There are many plans for 2012, and we are really looking forward to what the new year brings. We're also very excited about the "Flying Seahorse" coming back soon, to find out whether or not they have seen manta rays on new year's day.

Info: Überschwemmungen in Thailand
Zur Information: Lanta Diving Safaris hat geöffnet, wir sind von den Überschwemmungen NICHT betroffen!

Saisonbedingte Regefälle waren in diesem Jahr stärker als in anderen Jahren, weshalb es in weiten Teilen Thailands zu Überschwemmungen kam. Die für Touristen interessanten Ziele jedoch waren kaum betroffen, auch wenn europäische Medien oft anderes vermuten ließen. Überschwemte Gebiete sind hauptsächlich die Vororte von Bangkok und die umliegenden Provinzen. Touristisch attraktive Ziele in Süd- und Ostthailand sind ohne Probleme zu erreichen, trocken und sonnig wie sonst auch zu dieser Jahreszeit.

Info regarding the floodings in Thailand
Please note: Lanta Diving Safaris is open for business and NOT affected by the floodings!

Seasonal rains that are heavier than usual have resulted in widespread flooding in Thailand. However, most key tourist destinations and attractions throughout Thailand have not been affected by the floods, although news in Europe might suggest that the situation is quite bad throughout the country! The flooding areas are around Bangkok and some surrounding provinces. Tourist destinations in southern and eastern Thailand remain fully accessible.

Glückliche Taucher auf der 2 Tages Ko Ha/ Hin Daeng Tour!
Auch wenn sich die Mantas & Walhaie vorerst noch gut versteckten waren unsere Taucher auf der 2 Tages Tauchsafari restlos begeistert! Die beiden Franzosen Bruno & Lionel etschlossen sich spontan an Board zum Schnuppertauchen mit Lanta Diving Safaris! In der Lagune von Ko Ha machten beide ihre ersten Flossenschäge in die herrliche thailändische Unterwasserwelt! Ein Padi Open Water Kurs ist in Planung!

Even if the whalsharks & manta rays were hiding on this trip, all our customers were very exited about the many nice dives! Bruno & Lionel, two frensh guys, were really blown away with the Discover Scuba Dive experience with Lanta Diving Safaris! Inside the Lagoon of the Ko Ha Islands, they tried their first dives in the colourful underwater world of the andaman sea! They are going to start there Padi Open Water Course soon!

Die Flying Seahorse ist wieder unterwegs!
Evi und Kai haben uns gestern angerufen und vom ersten Tauchtag der Siebentagestour nach Hin Daeng/Hin Muang und den Similans berichtet. Geisterpfeifenfische, Schildkröten und Sepias bei der Eiablage sind nur einige der vielen Dinge die ihnen und unseren Gästen unter Wasser begegnet sind. Der Regen ist endlich weiter gezogen und alle genossen den Abend vor der wunderschönen Kulisse von Ko Ha!

Evi und Kai called last night with news from Ko Ha. The first day of our seven day trip to Hin Daeng/Hin Muang and the Similan Islands was eventful for everybody: ghostpipefish, turtles and cuttlefish laying their eggs are just a few of the things they encountered under water. The rain has finally passed and everyone enjoyed a lovely evening in the beautiful lagoon of Ko Ha.

Unser Liveaboard die "Flying Seahorse" kennen viele von Euch ja schon - und heute haben wir die kleine Schwester zu Wasser gelassen. Unser neues Tagesboot wurde auf den Namen "Flying Manta" getauft. Schnittig, wendig und schnell wird sie uns vor allen anderen Tauchern an die besten Spots hier in der südlichen Andamanensee bringen.

Lanta Diving Safaris' favourite is back on Ko Lanta! After long months away from home the Flying Seahorse has left the warft and come back to the island. She's been painted and there's been a complete overhaul... and now she's awaiting her first journey on the Andaman. In less than two weeks our team will be on a short trip to Hin Daeng/Hin Muang and Ko Ha, to check all our favourite dive sites for you!
